Kubrick Lite
This Theme looks old and very mid 2000’s. It’s meant to. That was the beauty of my favourite WordPress Theme called Kubrick by Michael Heilemann and Chris Davis. I wanted to make a very light version of it that works with the block editor and works on mobile and other screens. And actually looks like the original.
This is not my first attempt at this but it’s my favourite so far. The others were built using Twitter Bootstrap and other boilerplates when I was playing around with them. But as I made it the way I wanted, it got so big and heavy and I would end up binning it.
So if it looks old, out-dated and horribly bare – then I’ve achieved my goal.
